not “financial solutions” — four scoped jobs, each with a price, a list of what’s left out, and a last day.
Every engagement below comes with a written scope, a fixed fee and an end date you’ll see before you sign. Read the “not included” column first. That’s where most consultants hide the second invoice, so we put ours in plain sight.
Find your job by the sentence you’d say out loud
- “Payroll is in three weeks and I’m not sure we cover it.”Runway forecast $3,850
- “An investor asked for our model, and we sent a deck.”Operating model $6,400
- “The board meets on the 28th and the deck is a blank file.”Board pack $2,150
- “We need to raise by spring and haven’t started.”The raise $14,750
- A fixed fee, quoted in writing
- A “not included” list on every scope
- A last day, agreed before work starts
- Your files, unlocked, when we leave
The four scopes, in full
read the “not included” column before the price
Each scope below is close to the one we’d send you to sign. The fee stays fixed unless the scope changes — and if it changes, you approve the new number first.
-
A 13-week rolling cash forecast at the weekly level, sitting on top of an 18-month monthly view. Built from your bank exports and ledger — not from the plan you showed investors.
In the scope
- 13-week cash forecast, weekly, by category
- 18-month runway view with a base and a lean case
- Payroll, rent and software-renewal calendar, with dates
- One-page burn summary you can paste into an investor update
- 60-minute handover and a written how-to for rolling it forward each Monday
Not in the scope read twice
- Cleaning up your books. If they’re more than two months behind, we’ll tell you to fix that first.
- A full P&L and balance-sheet model — that’s job 02.
- Weekly upkeep after handover. You run it, or book a re-run for $940.

A three-statement model — P&L, balance sheet, cash flow — that moves when you change the inputs founders actually control: start dates, prices, churn, ramp time.
Tab one, every time: the dozen numbers the whole model hangs on, highlighted, so nobody has to hunt for them in a diligence call. In the scope
- Assumptions on tab one, highlighted, with a note on where each came from
- Base, lean and stretch scenarios, switched from one cell
- Hiring plan by month with fully loaded cost per role
- Unit economics tab: CAC, payback, gross margin by product line where the data allows
- Two walkthroughs — one with you, one with your co-founder or finance lead
Not in the scope read twice
- The investor narrative and deck. That’s part of job 04.
- Confident numbers for a product line with zero data. We’ll model it, and label it a guess in red.
- Monthly plan-vs-actual afterwards. Book a quarterly refresh for $1,180.

The deck, the KPI appendix and the plan-vs-actual page, built from your numbers and reviewed with you twice before it goes out. Then we sit in the meeting and take the finance questions.
In the scope
- 12–18 slide deck plus a KPI appendix
- Variance to plan, line by line, with one honest sentence on each big miss
- Two review passes with you before it’s sent to directors
- We attend — on video, or in person anywhere in the NYC metro at no extra charge
- Follow-up memo to directors within two business days
Not in the scope read twice
- The strategy and product slides. Your board wants those in your words, not ours.
- Rebuilding a broken plan. We’ll flag it and quote job 02.
- A standing commitment. Each meeting is booked, and billed, on its own.

Fundraising advisory for pre-seed through Series A. We build the financial side of the story and keep diligence from eating your quarter. You still pitch — investors back founders, not their advisors.
In the scope
- Investor-grade model — built new, or updated if we made your operating model
- Data room, built, indexed and permissioned
- Use-of-funds and runway-to-milestone slides
- Diligence Q&A drafted with you and tracked in one sheet
- Term-sheet read-through alongside your lawyer
Not in the scope read twice
- Investor introductions. We’ll help you build the list; we don’t sell access.
- Legal advice. Your lawyer reads the documents, we read the numbers.
- A promise you’ll close. Anyone offering one is pricing it in somewhere.

fourteen weeks, drawn honestly — including the bars that are yours
Dashed bars are founder work. We can’t send your intro emails or give your pitch, and anyone who says they can is selling a list.

Week 5 is where raises usually wobble: pitch meetings get booked before the data room is finished, and the first serious investor asks for a file that doesn’t exist yet. We hold the overlap to one week. If the room isn’t ready, we’ll tell you to push the first meeting — even when you don’t want to hear it.

Smaller jobs, priced on their own
the bits that don’t justify a whole engagement
Mostly booked by returning clients. If what you need isn’t on the list, you get a written quote before anyone opens a spreadsheet.
quarterly model refresh
$1,180Last quarter’s actuals dropped into a model we built, assumptions re-checked, variance noted. About four working days.
forecast re-run after a shock
$940Lost a big customer, signed one, or moved a hire? We rebuild the 13 weeks around it within three working days.
investor update template
$680A one-page monthly update layout and the first issue written with you. After that it’s yours to send.
cap table sanity check
$1,350Before a priced round: dilution modeled across the next two rounds, and anything odd flagged for your lawyer. We don’t give legal opinions.
data room, no advisory
$4,200Built, indexed and permissioned. For founders running their own raise who want the filing done properly.
second opinion on a model
$1,600We read a model someone else built and write down where it breaks. Sometimes the answer is “it’s fine.” You’ll get that in writing too.
extra handover time
$210/hrFor a new finance hire, or a co-founder who missed the original walkthrough.
Small jobs are billed in one invoice when the work is delivered. Ask about any of them on the free call — it’s booked here.
Money, the dull but important part
how and when you pay us
Invoices come by email from info@cledaraofficial.com. ACH, wire, Visa, Mastercard or Amex.
- forecast + model
- Half when we start, half at handover. Net 15 on both invoices.
- board pack
- One invoice, sent after the meeting — not before. If the meeting moves, the invoice moves with it.
- the raise
- Three parts: $5,000 at kickoff, $5,000 when the data room goes live, $4,750 at the end of week 14 or at close, whichever comes first. No percentage of anything.
- scope changes
- Quoted in writing and approved by you before the work starts. Extras you haven’t approved don’t get billed, because they don’t get done.
- if you stop early
- Tell us in writing. You pay for working days already spent, pro rata, and keep every file built up to that point.
